90 days within a period of 180 days is the maximum period allowed to stay in a Schengen country with a Schengen visa / visum kort verblijf (VKV).

The country of permanent residence is the country where you may legally reside for more than 90 days on the basis of a residence permit or while awaiting a residence permit.

BuZa is the abbreviation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A country of continuous residence (in Dutch: bestendig verblijf) is a country in which a person is permitted to reside for a period of more than 90 days, by reason of entitlement to temporary residence or pending entitlement to temporary residence.
DigiD stands for Digital Identity. It is a personal digital identity which allows the user to obtain service from governmental bodies, where identification needs to be provided.

IND is the abbreviation for Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst. They assess all applications from foreign nationals who want to live in the Netherlands or want to become Dutch citizens.

The MVV (machtiging tot voorlopig verblijf) is an entry visa preceding a residence permit. It is a sticker in your passport that will allow you to enter the Netherlands. However, the sticker does not give you the right to stay in the Netherlands for longer than 90 days. You must obtain lawful residence by applying for a residence permit on arrival. In most cases this has already been applied for by your employer.
